We’re seeking a driven and experienced Senior Account Executive to lead outbound sales efforts targeting foodservice distributors. This role owns the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through demos, negotiation, and close. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, is passionate about solving real problems in a legacy industry, and approaches sales with a true owner’s mindset. We’re specifically looking for hunter-style sellers who are excited about building their own book of business and creating something meaningful from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full-cycle sales process for targeted foodservice distributor accounts, from initial outreach through signed contract and handoff.
  • Execute a targeted account strategy, prioritizing high-value distributors and building multi-threaded relationships across leadership, operations, sales, finance, and IT.
  • Prospect and develop new opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, warm introductions, industry associations, and events.
  • Conduct outcome-based discovery, identifying distributor goals, operational challenges, and growth opportunities to position Cut+Dry’s platform as a driver of measurable results.
  • Deliver tailored product demos and presentations aligned with each distributor’s workflow, ERP environment, and digital transformation stage.
  • Use outcome-based selling techniques to build a compelling business case around revenue lift, operator adoption, AR acceleration, catalog improvements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to optimize lead quality, improve messaging, and execute account-based strategies that support pipeline creation for targeted accounts.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, navigating long, strategic sales cycles with enterprise-level distributors.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and multi-year agreements in alignment with company goals and financial models.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, ensuring all activities, next steps, and pipeline forecasts are consistently updated.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, consistently advancing deals through complex sales cycles.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in a full-cycle role selling into complex or traditional industries; experience in the foodservice or distribution vertical is a strong advantage.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and closing mid-market to enterprise-level deals with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
  • Strong understanding of the foodservice distribution landscape, including distributor workflows, operational challenges, and ERP environments, is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, discovery, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives and frontline teams alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead outcome-based sales conversations and build compelling business cases tied to measurable ROI.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup with evolving processes, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce) and modern sales enablement tools, with strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy.
  • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and capable of executing a targeted account strategy with minimal oversight.
